Fathers and Finances

Hello, everyone! Today's topic is a pretty cool topic. It concerns fathers and finances in the home. In today's society fathers are sometimes put down as unnecessary or considered "dumb" or "stupid". If you look at modern tv shows all the fathers seem like they're unnecessary or messing everything up in the family. I think this is a very sad way to view fathers. The research also shows how important fathers are in the home.

For daughters having a present father in the home helps her to see how men should treat her, and having a present loving father helps set the tone for the daughter and her future relationships. Sons need a father to see how they should treat women, and having a present father gives them a male role model in their life to help guide them to be present future fathers and husbands.

I absolutely love my father, he is the best man I know. He set the standard pretty dang high for my future spouse. He loves his family, and he will do anything for them. He spends time with us, and he provides financially for the family. I'm so grateful for all that my father provided for us while growing up. He is an extremely hard worker, and he gave all of us children an amazing example of what it means to provide for and love your family.

Growing up my parents taught us the important roles parents have, and that mothers have an important role in nurturing and taking care of the home, and fathers have the main role of providing for the family financially.

Every family is different, and just because someone's family did it differently than my family doesn't make it wrong or right, it can be just a different view. I just wanted to share how I was raised, and what my parents taught me, and how I want to raise my future family. The most important point I want to get across my post this week is that fathers are important, and they're vital in helping with their children's lives and future relationships.

Here is some of the research that proves how fathers affect the family.
